Children's Ministry at New Life focuses on children ages birth through 6th grade. Along with all of the fun in Nursery, Children's Church, Sunday School, Awana and Vacation Bible School, our main goal is to partner with parents and family as we teach children how to love and follow Jesus and then how to share Christ with others

Vacation Bible School

Kids (age 4 through entering 6th grade) will race from continent to continent uncovering clues and attempting challenges as they fill their score cards.

They'll also discover that, no matter where we live, what shade of skin we have, or what language we speak, we are all part of the same race—the human race—and all part of the same family from Adam and Eve.

As they examine the events surrounding the tower of Babel, kids will learn that God is calling people from every tribe and nation through his Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. And that he wants us to share this good news in kindness and love with our neighbors nearby and far away.

Join The Incredible Race  and experience God's love for every tribe, language, and nation!

Sunday School

Sunday School classes for all ages are held at 9:00am on Sunday mornings during the school year. If you don’t know where to find your class just enter our main doors and there will be a friendly host at our Info Center that can direct you.

Our Children’s Sunday School classes are going through The Gospel Project.

The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.  Children age 3 through 4th grade will enjoy time together worshiping, playing games, and most importantly learning truths from God’s Word!  There is no charge for Awana, but we do ask families to cover the costs of their child’s book ($11) and vest/shirt ($11-$16). Please ask about scholarships if that is a problem for your family. We don’t want the cost to keep anyone from coming. We’d love to have you join us here at New Life (1530 N Hwy 20) at 6:25 on Wednesday evenings during the school year. We always welcome new kids, but if you are able to register ahead of time it will help us to make sure we have enough volunteers and have them in the right groups!

Club 56

Our 5th and 6th graders meet together on Wednesday evenings for a teaching time and then split up into small groups for discussion. We will also have lots of fun activities and games throughout the year - a great way for this age group to learn, build relationships with friends & leaders, and eventually transition into youth group.

Our church nursery is staffed with volunteers during our Worship Service at 10:15am each Sunday.  Children birth through age 2 are welcome to come and play while parents attend the Worship Service.

Children's Church

We offer Children’s Church during the sermon portion of our Sunday morning Worship Service for children age 3 through 5. Parents can watch for the slide that announces the start of children's church and then accompany your child or children to the classroom in the corner of the foyer to check them in.
