PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES
Praying for Pastor Billy
Pastor Billy will be taking an 8-week sabbatical in July and August. We’d like to commit to covering him and the whole Evans family in prayer during this time. Would you be willing to sign up for a day to pray? Or maybe more than one day?!?
Here are Billy’s prayer requests for the sabbatical weeks:
Rest - needed after this season of being so busy with things
Quiet time in His Word - looking to really just read devotionally and enjoy the Word
Clarity - for the next season(s) of ministry
Quality time for my marriage - that Becky and I would enjoy some reconnection
Quality family time - we don't get much time outside of ministry, since they serve so closely with me, that we would all be able to reconnect well
Spiritual growth - that God would give me some new ideas or reinforce deeply held convictions
Prayer Chain
Praises and requests from our church body are submitted to the office and distributed by email to this group of prayer warriors. To submit a prayer request you can use the Connection Cards on Sunday morning, call the church office (886-1977), or send an email to sherryd@newlifeefree.org.

Sunday Morning Prayer
Meet with others to cover our Sunday Morning Ministries in prayer from 8:00-8:25am in Room 209.
Concerts of Prayer
Scripture is so clear that prayer is the very life blood of the local church. We meet for a Concerts of Prayer a few times a month on Sunday evenings. The Concerts of Prayer will go from 6-7 pm and we will meet in the sanctuary of the church. There will also be some worship through song and a time for personal testimonies regarding the ways that God is answering our prayers. Commitment to prayer is critical if we hope to see the Holy Spirit at work in our church and the counties all around us.
