Worship Services - 8:30am and 11:00am

Sunday School classes are taking a break for the summer. We’ll start up again after Labor Day.

Nursery care for children 0-2 is available during the 11:00 service.

Children’s Church for ages 3-5 is available during the sermon portion of the 11:00 service.

Who doesn’t want to be wise and understanding? Who doesn’t want to have answers on what to do in your life, pitfalls to avoid, ways to lead your family, insight into handling other people and your relationships with them? But are we looking in the right place and listening to the right voices?

The Book of Proverbs gives true wisdom, from our only infallible source of truth, God. The wisdom provided is able to help each of us navigate through life, being a benefit to both ourselves and others. The key to the entire Book is having a “fear of the Lord” that leads to true practical knowledge in relationships. We are to come to the Proverbs with reverence and humility before God to learn how He would want us to handle everyday situations. While we do not live in the same time period or covenant, wisdom from God is universally applicable.

Come journey with us this summer as we gain wisdom in navigating life through the Book of Proverbs.

Sunday School classes will not be meeting this summer.

We will have coffee and cookies available in the foyer between the two worship services. It’s a great time to catch up with a friend or meet someone new!

Join us to pray together!

Connection Cards

We have Connection Cards available on the backs of the chairs in the sanctuary. Guests can fill them out and take them to the Info Center for a free gift. Anyone can use them to submit prayer requests, request more information about ministries, update personal contact information, ask a question, or give feedback. Cards can be dropped into the offering boxes at the entrances to the sanctuary.

Annual Congregational Meeting

Our Annual Meeting will be held Sunday, August 24 at 9:45am (between the two worship services). Everyone is welcome to attend! We’ll hear reports from our elders, pastors, and ministry leaders. Members will be voting on the proposed budget for 2025-26 and an elder candidate. You can pick up a printed copy of the Annual Report with more information about the budget and elder candidate in the foyer on Sunday or in the church office during the week. The button below will take you to a digital version of the same booklet.

Listening Visits

Pastor Chris and Rhonda are setting up times to meet with those in our church family for “listening visits.” In addition to helping them get to know the New Life family, these visits will help Pastor Chris as he works with the Transition Team to find the man God has for us for our next Senior Pastor. If you would like to set up a time to meet, you can call the church office (886-1977) or send an email to Lezlie.

Do you have extra Bibles at home?

A member of our community is collecting Bibles to send overseas. If you have used Bibles that you would like to donate, you can place them in the box near the office door.

Each month, we highlight a missionary or organization that is supported by New Life. We encourage you to be praying for them and also learning more about how God is working through them in their area of ministry.

Youth Group is taking a break from regular Wednesday meetings this summer. They will be having some teaching nights and other fun events.

Send an email to Pastor Billy if you would like their summer schedule. He can also add you to his text reminder group: billye@newlifeefree.org
